Privacy Pools / Tornado Cash Update
TL;DR: Due to OFAC adding Tornado Cash protocol to the sanctions list, we will be halting all privacy pool activity. If you still hold any funds in the privacy pools, please withdraw them immediately. We continue exploring other on-chain privacy alternatives.

During the past couple of days, our legal team has been looking into recent Tornado Cash events and their implications for BlockWallet - in particular, the safety of our users.
Our main focus and goal has always been to protect you, the user, so we’ve decided to halt all privacy pool activity. These changes will take effect in the next product release. So if you still haven’t withdrawn funds from privacy pools, we ask you to do that as soon as possible.
Although we are forced to shut down privacy pools until we find a long-term solution, features like privacy proxies and zero-tracking policy still make BlockWallet the only privacy-focused EVM wallet.
In light of these changes to the current privacy landscape, BlockWallet’s focus remains the same - protecting our users on Web3. We will continue exploring other alternatives to on-chain privacy.
